AIRSIDE MEDICAL

About The Airside Medical
The airside medical is a health assessment conducted by a GMC-registered doctor for individuals who operate vehicles within the airside areas of an airport, such as runways, taxiways and other zones where aircraft are present.
This medical examination ensures that drivers possess the necessary physical and mental fitness to safely navigate the complex and potentially hazardous airside environment. Typical roles that need this medical include aircraft cleaner drivers, aircraft de-icers, passenger bus drivers, and more.
